Bailey Robert F. "Tag" Bailey, age 69, of Columbus, Ohio went home to the Lord Monday night, September 16, 2013 at his home surrounded by family. Born September 29, 1943 in Delbarton, WV, he was the second of four children of the late Forest H. Bailey and Eloise D. (Browning) Bailey. Tag was a welder at Buckeye Steel Casting in Columbus, Ohio for 38 years. Tag was blessed by a donor family four years ago at the Cleveland Clinic with the gift of life in the form of a lung transplant. Since being blessed, he was able to fish at Lake Erie, travel to see his grandchildren, visit Florida and go home to West Virginia to visit family and friends. The family would like to thank the Doctors and staff of the Cleveland Clinic where he received tremendous care. Most of all, we were able to have time with a man who truly was his brother's keeper that loved his family and treated his friends like family. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sharon L. Bailey; daughter, Susan Bailey; son, Todd (Jenny) Bailey of Middletown, Ohio; grandchildren, Jordan, Sarah, Hunter and Raven; brother, Earl; sister, Joyce (Roy) Croy; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law. Tag was preceded in death by his parents and brother James. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2013 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, Oh. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. followed by the Memorial Service officiated by Reverend Chuck Noel. In lieu of flowers, the family would encourage organ donations and memorials be made to the .
