Allen Sr Life Reflection and Celebration of Travis L. Allen Sr., born June 7, 1932 in Mt Vernon, Alabama to Percy Allen and Addie Wallace. He passed away peacefully on January 11, 2014 in his home in Columbus, Ohio. He is now rejoicing in spirit with ancestors, parents, ten brothers and sisters, daughter and many dear friends who have left this earth physically already. He is survived by his brother, Lawrence (Josephine) of Philadelphia, PA; sons, Travis Jr. (Molly), Tony (Kitty), Darryl (Lisa), and Dominique; daughters, Debby (Bob), Veronica (Terry), and Dorothy (Jason); 12 grandchildren; three great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He served over 20 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. He was a skilled fisherman and spokesman who loved to talk about any subject. He was truly one of a kind. The family acknowledges with grateful appreciation the expressions of sympathy and other acts of kindness extended in words and deeds during our time of bereavement. The viewing will be on January 17, 2014 at 9 a.m. with Catholic mass following at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 1111 E.
