BOWERS Robert F. Bowers, DDS, 87 of Powell, passed away on September 4, 2012 in Asheville, NC while returning from a family reunion. A WWII Veteran who served at the Battle of the Bulge, Dr. Bowers had a dental practice and raised his family in Germantown, Ohio. In retirement, he was a greens keeper for 21 years at York Golf Club. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Bowers; and his children, Rick (Kathy) Bowers, Holly (Gregg) Clendenin, Vickie (Lincoln) Reeves, Jackie Bowers, Tanya Gibson, and Kara (Bob) Hall; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was a member of Worthington Presbyterian Church and Chancel Choir where the Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2012. Dr. Mack Sigmon will officiate.
