RACKETT Beverly Jean Rackett, age 61, died on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Bev dedicated herself to improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities by founding the organization, M.O.B.I.L.E. (Mid-Ohio Board for an Independent Living Environment) and serving as its Executive Director for over 30 years. Bev's passion for life was reflected in the main principles of M.O.B.I.L.E. - affirming the rights of persons with disabilities to live their lives with a full measure of liberty and human dignity. Preceded in death by her mother Jean Marie Wuerstle Rackett. Survived by her daughter, Brooklyn (Kevin) Gee; grandson, Bryden Gee; father, William D. Rackett; five sisters, Barbara Rackett, Mary Ellen (Marion) DeLaney, Patti (Al) Cridge, Jean Marie (Sami) Graham and Sue (Jim) Nowicki; three brothers, Bill Rackett, Dave (Sue) Rackett and Jim (Traci) Rackett; and, many loving nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel on the grounds of St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High St., Lockbourne, Ohio 43137, where the burial will follow. Funeral Arrangements being handled by EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME.
