LOCKE Wilbur J. Locke, age 82, went to rest peacefully, Thursday, December 6, 2012 at his residence. He was born September 30, 1930 In German Village. Veteran US Army, serving in the Korean Conflict at Fort Hayes as a 64 engineer. Retired from COTA Transportation after 21 years where he earned the nickname of Willie. Wilbur was preceded in death by wife Edna J. Locke, son Robert Nelson Locke, daughter Virginia Pauline Locke Young, sister Norma J. Storer. Survived by children, Carol J. Turner, Loretta M. Oney, Lisa A. Lawler, Billie Jo Palmer and April L. Locke; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; best friends, Dale Baker and Dick Wester. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Monday, 5-8 p.m., where service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday. Pastor Robert Tillis officiating. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
