MEIGE Frank "Sugar" Meige, Jr., passed away peacefully on December 11, 2012, at the age of 89. Frank was born to the late Frank and Lillian Meige in Columbus, Ohio. He valued his family over everything else and worked hard to provide the best life for those he loved. Frank served his country valiantly during World War II. He retired from Summers & Sons. His sense of humor and kindness will forever be remembered. He is survived by his devoted wife of 70 years, Virginia Meige; his son, William Meige; beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred; and numerous friends and acquaintances. He was preceded in death by his daughters Madeline Britt and Cheryl Walter, parents, brothers Burl, Calvin, and Danny, and sister Betty. Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2012, at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the chapel at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 N. High St., Lewis Center. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Charity Newsies.
