ORR (FRANKLIN) Mabel Bonnie Coleman (Franklin) Orr, age 94, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 27, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Gail E. Orr,father and mother William and Mabel Coleman, brother Harold (Mary) Coleman, sisters Lucille (Paul) O'Hearn, Isabelle (Challis) Miner and Irene (Bill) Swartzwalder. Survived by sons, Robert C. (Roberta) Franklin, Jr. and James L. (Carolyn) Franklin; grandchildren, Robert E. (Dawn) Franklin, Annette J. (Paul) LaPietra, James (Michelle) Franklin, Valerie (Doug) Davis, Alex (Diana) Hunt; great-grandchildren, Cassandra J. LaPietra, Marc A. Lapietra, Alexandra D. Franklin, Cayden and Carlee Franklin, Sara and Christian Hunt, Trent Davis; great-great-grandchildren, Bella and Dante LaPietra; sister, Florence Cloud; many wonderful nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mabel retired from North American Rockwell after 32 years where she worked in the "secret vault" for over 20 years. She was a member of Baltimore United Methodist Church, auxiliary member of the Baltimore VFW, past member of the Eastern Star and was the first child out of six to graduate from Central High School. After retirement, she loved her Bingo games with her special friend Rose Budd. Special thanks to everyone at Lanfair Center for their care and dedication to Mabel. Our family and the world will miss this Special Lady and Heaven has gained a great angel! Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232 where family will receive friends from 12-1pm; Pastor Branson Hawkes, officiating; interment Sunset Cemetery.
