Emsweller Raymond J. Emsweller, age 79, of Columbus, died on Monday, February 11, 2013. Ray retired from the Air National Guard, was a graduate of Morgantown High School, Morgantown, WV, and served in the Marines as an NCO during the Korean Conflift. In life he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Elks, and the Oblates of St. Meinrad; he was a paralegal, real estate appraiser, insurance agent and ultrasound technician. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond P. Emsweller and Mary Ranalli Beard and his son Raymond P. Emsweller, II. He is survived by his wife, Lois; children, Pam Turner, Ed Emsweller, and Debbie (Ray) Sickles; grandchildren, Brooke Summers, David Turner and Lauren Campbell; two great- grandchildren; brother, Joe (Suzanne) Emsweller; uncle, Joe (Elois) Cua, Jr.; and nephew, Patrick Emsweller; plus many cousins and friends. Ray's family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m., on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at THE JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. Fifth Avenue. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2013 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Road at Reed. Burial to follow, Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, Ohio.
