Wollenberg New Lexington-Rodney Leo Wollenberg, 85, passed away Saturday evening, August 31, 2013 at his residence in Reynoldsburg. He was born May 31, 1928 in New Lexington, the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Bringardner Wollenberg. Rodney was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church of Reynoldsburg, Eagles Lodge #3261, retired member of Local 189 Pipefitters, and a WW II Army Veteran. He is survived by his children, Ronald (Marsha) Wollenberg of Meadow Vista, CA, Kurt (Mary) Wollenberg of Chardon and Chris Wollenberg of Reynoldsburg; grandchildren, Abigail, Jillian, Ethan, Megan, Matthew, Alexander and Daniel; brothers, Martin of New Lexington and Paul of Reynoldsburg; sisters, Rosmary Meikle of Columbus and Virginia Pegago of Florida. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wives Martha A. Wollenberg and Rose Wollenberg, brothers and sisters Imogene Adrian Merlin Thomas Neil and Dominica. Calling hours will be held from 2 until 6 p.m. Tuesday at the CHUTE-WILEY FUNERAL HOME, 118 S. Jackson St, New Lexington with Eagles services at 5 p.m. and Rosary at 5:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Rose Catholic Church, Corner of Main & Water Sts., with Father John Reade as Celebrant, Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery with full military graveside rites. www.chutewiley.com
