Arledge Betty Ruth Arledge, age 76, of Pataskala, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus. She was born May 31, 1937 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late James and Ethel (Spriggs) Noel. She worked as a clerk at Calendar Cleaners in Pataskala, was a member of The Seventh Day Adventist Church and a L.E.A.D.S. volunteer. She is survived by one son, Joseph Arledge of Iowa; one daughter, Sandy (Larry) Armstrong of Pataskala; four grandchildren, Sharon (Mic) DeBoard, Katheryn Colwell, Tyler and Donovan Arledge; three great-grandchildren, Danaya, Michael and Komyn; two sisters, Janice Loop of Portsmouth, and Viola Thompson of Newark; one sister-in-law, Chris Arledge of Texas; several nieces and nephews, friends and church family. She was preceded in death by her husband Dorsel Arledge in 2003, two brothers Arnold and Wilbur Noel, and two sisters Susan Smith and Margaret Hodge. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 12noon until 3 p.m. and funeral services will follow on Sunday at 3 p.m. at KAUBER-SAMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 289 South Main Street, in Pataskala, with Pastor Milt Pruitt officiating. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at Pataskala Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church. I will miss her. I didn't know her very well. However, the times that I seen her, she always had a smile on her face. Rest In Peace.
