Allison Raenae (Jones) Fogg Obituary
Mrs. Allison Raenae Jones Fogg, age 48, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, at the Methodist Hospital in Memphis.
Allison was born June 23, 1969, in Memphis, and was the daughter of Larry Dale Jones and Rosemary Woodson Jones. She lived in Forrest City most of her life, had been an employee of the Forrest City Public Schools, where she taught at Central and the Madison Montessori Schools. Teaching was her passion. She was the Parent Involvement Coordinator for several years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Allison graduated from Forrest City High School in 1987. She was a graduate of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and the Dallas Montessori Academy. She was a member of the Garden Gate Club, as flowers were another of her passions. She was a two-time heart transplant recipient.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Raymond F. Kerr, J. W. Woodson, and Charles H. 'Buck' Jones; her grandmother, Virginia T. Poole, and husband, Ray T. Poole; and mother-in-law, Nell Deane Fogg Lanier.
Allison married Donald Scott Fogg in 1995, and he survives her along with one son, William Peyton Fogg, of Forrest City; her parents, Larry and Rosemary Jones of Forrest City; one sister, Ginadell Adams, and husband, Frank, of Forrest City; two brothers, Jeffery Woodson Jones, and Donna, of Lake Forest, Calif., and Joseph Humphrey Jones of Forrest City; two nephews, Ethan Woodson Adams and Franklin Eli Adams, both of Forrest City; her grandmother, Normadell Humphrey Kerr of Forrest City; her brother-in-law, William Jeff Fogg, and Rhonda, of Forrest City; and her sister-in-law, Donna Ferguson, and husband, Ron, of Heber Springs.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the First United Methodist Church gym. Services for Allison will be held at the First United Methodist Church, at 11 a.m., with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery.
