Bobby Joe Washington was born in St. Francis County [Forrest City] on Tuesday, April 15, 1975, the son of the late Simon and Martha Ruby Washington Morrow.
Bobby attended and graduated from Forrest City High School. After high school, he attended Arkansas State University and later began working. He was always employed to provide for his family. He was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, constantly going above and beyond for everyone in his life. Being a father was his greatest passion in life. He supported his children in all they did and was their biggest fan, literally and figuratively. Loving and kind, considerate and caring, Bobby had many friends from all over who he dearly treasured. He was always ready to provide a helping hand.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Martha Ruby Washington Morrow and sisters, Tisha Washington and Shirley Washington.
Bobby Joe Washington passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018, in Crow Creek [Madison], at his home.
He is survived by his children, De'Arias T. Washington of Forrest City and Quandarius D. Washington and Jasmine N. Washington, both of San Antonio, Texas; a stepdaughter, Sariya Mathis of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Rachel Washington (Ralph) Dean of Jonesboro, and April Washington and Gwendolyn Washington, both of Forrest City; brothers, Alfonzo Washington and Jimmy (Tammy) Morrow, all of Forrest City and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Bobby Joe Washington will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday April 14, 2018, at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Hezekiah White delivering the eulogy. Burial will be at Scott Bond Cemetery.
Kincaid Funeral Services of Forrest City is in charge of arrangements.
