Deloris Pearson Obituary
Deloris Pearson was born in Hughes on Oct. 15, 1960, to L. W. and Exola Pearson. She departed this life Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017 at 8:08 PM. 
Deloris Pearson attended Forrest City High School, and was a member of the class of 1979. She was a homemaker for years. She confessed to Christ and gave her life to God. She was a faithful volunteer at Madison Head Start.  
She is preceded in death by her father, L. W. Pearson; her mother, Exola Pearson; her grandmother, Asalee Hodges; her grandfather, Lawyer Pearson; her brother, Frank James Blount Jr.; a niece, Mae Anna Davis; a brother-in-law, James Lewis Payne; and a long-time friend, Dennis Turner Davis.
Survivors left to cherish her memory include her daughter, LaSonya Pearson Doby (Willie); two sisters, Shirley Jones Blount of Madison and Darlene Poye of Forrest City; one brother, Arthur Lee Blount of Syracuse, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Cardell Allen, Billy Allen, Tori Allen, Lattrius Allen and Kierra Bryunna Washington; two great-grandchildren, Kylon and L.A.; a special nephew and niece whom she raised, Glen Eric (Deshon) Blount and Tanisha Nicole Jones Adams; two nephews: Lorenco Jones and Stanley (Meko); her goddaughter, Tamara Gates; two best friends, Katherine Lyons and Earnestine Malone; and most of all, her better half for twenty-two years, Tom Anderson who was there with her until the end. He showered her with love. He was father to LaSonya and DaDa to Cardarell, Billy, Tori, Lattrius and Kierra.
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Kincaid Funeral Service. Funeral service for Deloris Pearson will be Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at 10 a.m. at the Cornerstone M.B. Church with Dr. Ronald Broussard Sr. delivering the eulogy. Burial will be at Scott Bond Cemetery.
Kincaid Funeral Services of Forrest City is in charge of arrangements.
