Gillie Hearns Obituary
Gillie Bell Oliver Hearns passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at 11:57 p.m., at Forrest City Medical Center with her family surrounding her.
Gillie was born Oct. 6, 1948 in Chicago, Ill. She was the daughter of the late John Wilson Sr. and Elise Walker.
She attended school at Derossitt Elementary and Lincoln High School.
She accepted Christ at a very early age at the Bethlehem M.B. Church and later joined United Christian M.B. Church in 2010 under the leadership of Dr. Anthony D. Latham.
Gillie knew everybody, and everybody knew her. She never met a stranger. She would give you her last and would do anything for anybody.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Joyce Easter; and two daughters, Baby Girl Hearns and LaToria Hearns. 
She is survived by her two daughters, Latrice Hearns-Drayton of Suffolk, Va. and LaToya Hearns of Forrest City; four grandchildren, Mahogani Harper and Darius Drayton, both of Sulffolk, Va., and Trevion Williams and Trinity Haggins, both of Forrest City; stepmother, MaeDean Wilson (Benny) Brewer of Forrest City; five sisters, Lillie (Larry) Brooks, Linda Wilson, Mary Wilson and Joyce Wilson (Maurice) Jones, all of Forrest City and Elnora Williams of Widener; six brothers, John H. (Charlene) Wilson, Jr. of Forrest City, Courtney (Sharon) Wilson and Barry (Linda) Harris of Widener, Maurice Harris of Wynne, Curtis Willis of Forrest City, and J.B. Wilson of Chicago, Ill.; a favorite cousin, Ossie Pitts; her caretaker, Paula Howard; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Kincaid Funeral Service. Funeral service for Gillie Hearns will be Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the United Christian M.B. Church with Pastor Willie S. Brown delivering the eulogy. Burial will be at Scott Bond Cemetery.
Kincaid Funeral Services of Forrest City is in charge of arrangements.
