MEANSVILLE - Ms. Patricia Ann Manley Apperson, age 67, of Meansville, (Upson County), passed away December 31, 2013. She was born in Clayton County, daughter of the late Emory Manley and Lorene Woodall Manley. For many years she worked as an Accountant for the Georgia National Guard Armory. She attended Shiloh Baptist Church in Thomaston, was a doll collector, loved animals and enjoyed the outdoors. She was a devoted mother and a loyal friend.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Tammie and Brian McNabb of Williamson; grandson: Chandler McNabb; sister and brother-in-law: Carolyn and Kenneth Ballew of Locust Grove; niece and nephew: Troy and Sherry; good friends: Ralph Jones of Zebulon and Susan Cramer of Meansville.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 16, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home in Zebulon. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to ASPCA.org, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Moody-Daniel Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
