Beulah Boswell Aumack, 102 died February 3, 2013 at her home in Charlottesville, VA. She was a native of New Kent County and long–time resident of West Point.
Beulah was a kind-hearted, caring person who had a heart for ministering to people with encouragement, a helping hand or a meal.
She was an active member of the West Point United Methodist Church and taught Sunday school for 23 years.
Beulah graduated from Mary Washington College and taught in both the New Kent and Virginia Beach school systems. She was later employed by The Chesapeake Corporation.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Gordon Aumack, and youngest daughter Elizabeth (Betsy) Ogg. She is survived by one daughter Mary A. Loving (David Ashton); son-in-law, Wiley P. Ogg, Jr. of West Point; six grandchildren: Sherry Loving O'Briant (Terry) of Sanford, FL, Mark A. Loving (Debbie) of Sarasota, FL; Lynn Elizabeth Aumack of Richmond, and Kristy May (Chris) of Glen Allen, and several nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Beulah's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6th at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point, VA 23181. Interment will follow in Sunny Slope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. before the service.
