Francis Manwell "Frank" Milby, passed away at his home in Boswell, OK, on February 9, 2014. He was born at Plain View, VA on March 26, 1936. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Franklin Milby and Sadie Manoley Milby; a son, Wesley Hardin Milby, a daughter, Jo Lynn Chelette and a brother, George Franklin Milby, Jr.
Frank graduated from Pleasant Hill High School in 1953. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Education at VPI (now VA TECH) in 1958.
Before retiring, Frank managed Case International stores in Sherman, Gainsville, and Paris, TX. He was a member of AA, proudly sober for over 40 years, counseling other members through problems he had faced, assisting them towards recovery. He was an active member of his church, the New Life Family Church in Boswell. After retiring to Boswell, he enjoyed raising goats, usually naming them after relatives, depending on their personalities.
Funeral Services were held on February 13, 2014 in Boswell.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Milby of Boswell; three sons, Virgil Milby of McKenney, VA, Boyd Milby of Saginaw, TX , Eddie Brussard of Ft. Worth, TX; a daughter, Karla Desper of Lake Havasu, AZ; sisters, Betty Guess of Mechanicsville, VA and Jean Carlton of Sterling, VA and 10 grandchildren
