Katrina Baker Bradshaw, 55, passed away into the loving arms of God on Saturday, November 16, 2013. She was born on September 13, 1958 in Gettysburg, PA. and was the daughter of Marguerite Baker of Creagerstown, and the late William Baker, as well as the wife of Jerry Bradshaw of West Point, VA.

Katrina attended Thurmont Elementary and Thurmont Middle School, and graduated in 1976 from Catoctin High School in Thurmont, MD. In 1980, Katrina received a degree in Animal Science from Clemson University in South Carolina, where she was president of both the Gamma Sigma Sigma Clemson Players and the Block & Bridle Club. She also earned a degree in marketing, and a Master's Degree in business administration. Katrina was the president of East/West Consulting Company, executive director of the Build-A-Plane Company, director of advertising for the EAA in Oshkosh, WI, marketing & communications consultant for Washington Labs, marketing consultant for Avemco and for AOPA. She also had worked for NBAA. Katrina loved marketing and the many people with whom she worked and met in her career, as well as the problem solving that she encountered daily through her work. She dearly loved being with her family, reading, gardening, taking vacations to Maine, and being with her six dogs and one cat, Patsy.
In addition to her husband and mother, Katrina is survived by her son, Nicholas Baker Bradshaw, whom she adored; brother, William E. Baker and wife Denise; sister, Rebecca Cross; brother-in-law, Timothy Bradshaw and wife Nancy; sister-in-law, Gloria Meetze and husband Donald; niece, Erika Cross and fiancé Donald; nephew, William Cross and wife Caroline; and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Lenny Cross; sister-in-law, Kay Blackburn; and paternal grandmother-in-law, Ms. Carrie Bradshaw.
A local memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, December 14th at West Point United Methodist Church, 1020 Main Street, West Point, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Katrina's name to West Point United Methodist Women, P.O. Box 610, West Point, VA, 23181.
