Dear Mrs. Connor,
Please accept my condolences and prayers for you and your family.
As a former Flight Attendant, I flew with Dwight for a number of years and always enjoyed working trips with him... he made helped make the experience Great!
With his passion and knowledge for Mercedes I learned to appreciate and enjoy them, which led me on a path having a few ever since.
I thank you so much for bringing Dwight into this world to help inspire so many in many ways like enjoying one's own passion and simply to enjoy life.
I am honored to know and I love him still.
Thank You for Sharing Dwight and Much Love,
Jeanne Nichols

I just learned of the passing of Dwight when I was in Eureka at Christmas. I went to Jacobs Junior High & Eureka High School with him. I and the other members of the EHS class of 71 will miss him, especially at our reunions. He is the 69th classmate we have lost....very sad. I will always remember his smile & how very nice he was. I read his obituary & am so amazed at the many many things he has done & accomplished in his life.My prayers are with you Mrs Conner & your family.

Mrs Conner,
I'm very sorry to hear about Dwight. (My aunt Phyllis Bailey who lives in Blue Lake brought the news to my attention.) Please accept my sincere condolences. As I know you and many others would agree, it is unfortunate that he died so young.
I got to know Dwight through my cousin, Mike Bailey. He also dated my sister briefly. (Being passionate about Mercedes cars, he enjoyed driving my parent's Mercedes.) Although I only knew Dwight for a few years when I was in High School, I'm really glad that I got to know Dwight. He was a great guy and always fun and entertaining to be around.
We had some really good times up water skiing and goofing around at the Bailey's cabin at Lake Shasta as well as at our place at Ruth Lake. We also visited Dwight when he was working at Sun Valley one winter. We had a great time spinning his Mustang in the resort's parking lot. That car really had some get up and go. One of the side benefits of being around Dwight was that he attracted the girls, usually very attractive girls too. He was definitely a ladies man.
Dwight and I made a road trip to NY in the summer of 1974 which was a really great trip. I seem to recall that he was going back to look at and pick up a Mercedes car(s). We parted in NY as I went on a safari in Africa with my parents. We had some good times and moments on this trip (e.g., bar in Wyoming, being woken up by a Yellowstone park ranger at 4am, witnessing a robbery in NY and having his van broken into in a hotel garage in NY, all in one day).
Mrs Conner, I hope that the above brings you some comfort. Please know that Dwight will always be remembered fondly by me.
Sincerely,
Reed Kelly
