William Arthur Bowles William Arthur Bowles, born July 4, 1955 in Yreka, CA passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 4, 2014. Willie was a sweet and loving man who was loved by everyone who met him. He came from a large family. His parents Robert and Clara Bowles, his siblings Sheila Bowles, Mike and Barb Bowles, Kathy Bowles, Pat Bowles, Andrew and Barbara Bowles and Elma and Rus Brown. He had many nieces and nephews, Mike Garrison, Jim and Lara Garrison, Sean and Jennifer Bowles, Steven and Tycie Hackelberg, Rob and Kristen Hackelberg, Morgan and Rich Schlesiger, Kyle Brown, Brianna Brown, Kellen and Kim Brown, Allana and Fred Layton, Jennifer Leon, Peter Harrington and Stephanie Harrington. He had great and great-great nephews and nieces too numerous to mention but equally loved by him. Willie spent his days at HCAR in Eureka and loved the staff and fellow workers there. He was a die-hard Giants fan and loved to tell you about all their games. He loved going bowling and watching westerns on tv. He loved to tell jokes and stories. He had many hardships and obstacles to overcome in his life but was always happy and loving. Willie was preceded in death by his father Robert and his sister Kathy and is surely now sitting with them, catching them up on all that has happened since they passed. Willie was loved by all and will certainly be missed. All are invited to the Memorial Service for Willie at the Rio Dell Fire Hall, Rio Dell, Ca. on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given to HCAR, 1707 E street, Eureka, California. Arrangements are under the care of Goble's Fortuna Mortuary. We will miss Willie at Special Olympics Bowling...whenever we miss a strike, we always quote Willie..."I was robbed" or that the pins were a "split personality." We loved his enthusiastic spirit and infectious smile. Rest in peace, Willie, we will truly miss you. Rock on...
