Jimmy Leroy Clark Jr.

Jimmy Leroy Clark, Jr. July 10, 1955- November 18, 2012 Formerly from Bakersfield and current Rio Dell resident, Jim was taken unto the Lord on Sunday November 18, 2012. Jim was born in Bakersfield, CA to Jim Clark Sr. and Mrs. Billie Lichti. Jim was a member of the Chickasaw nation Native American Indian Tribe, originally based out of Oklahoma. After graduating from South High School In Bakersfield in 1974, he served in the US Army from 1975-78 and trained at Walter Reed Medical Center. From 1984-1999 Jim worked for Bakersfield Cardiopulmonary Medical Group and did additional work for 1.5 years at the Bakersfield Heart Hospital. He wished to continue his learning and trained on the transesophageal echo machine in the operating rooms of the heart hospital in Bakersfield assisting and manipulating cardiological probes during valve replacements of the heart. He worked as a cardiac sonographer in Bakersfield until 2001, and then traveled until 2010. Jim loved his family, camping, his guitar and fishing with his sons. He had the kindest heart and never met anyone who he'd refer to as a stranger. Jim is survived by the mother of his sons, Debbi Stine; his son AJ Clark, his wife Tamara and grandson Liam; his son Jimmy Clark III, his wife Tiffani and grandsons Bryson and Blake; his Mother Billie Lichti, and her husband Ted; his father Jim Sr. and his wife Helen; his sister Sam Todd, her husband Lenny, and two nieces Sami and Lindsay; He was preceded in death by his brother Wally and sister Denise.
