He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Olds (husband DuWayne) of Arcata; granddaughter, Julie Quinn (husband Chris) of Portland, OR; stepson, Dennis Mackey (wife Judy) of Rescue, CA; sister-in-law Jean Iskra of Cathedral City, CA; as well as several nieces and nephews. Carolyn ,
I will always remember Roy as the reputable meat cutter in Arcata .
I still have the cherished memory of him and Uncle Jerry on videotape at my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration .
I am thankful that Roy got to see the Giants win the World Series in 2010 and 2012 . I know that he had to have had great patience as the Giants have long been a team that can try the patience of any fan .

I often stopped in to see Roy while at Pacific during my outreach. I missed him very much when he left Sequoia. Now he can watch the games from high above the blimp
