Alma Louise Sizemore

Alma Louise Sizemore Transitioned from this life to her eternal life on September 12, 2013 in Arcata, California, just after her 90th birthday. Alma was born in Marshall Texas on September 6,, 1923 to Jesse and Stella Collins and was one of ten children. She moved from Texas to Arizona with her family as a child, and moved to southern California when she was eighteen. Mom loved God, and singing in church. She was also an avid reader of her bible. Mom loved rural country life. She loved canning, and making jelly; and a large garden was her delight. Some of her favorite past times were going to yard sales and going rock hunting. She loved to sing and dance with her children, had a way with words, and a wicked sense of humor. Alma was preceded in death by her first husband Burlon Hightower, her second husband Cecil Gatlin, and her third husband Eugene Sizemore. She was also preceded in death by daughter Pamela Hightower, and her two grandsons, William Peyatt and Cecil Ray Peyatt. She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Albert, Karen Hall (Tony), Deana Fewell(Ben), Marilyn Rollins, and Mary Bartel (Scott), She is also survived by her sons, Robert Gatlin and Terry Gatlin (Brenda).
