Trinidad bay brought the family here in 1971. I first walked the pier with my grandpa Alex at that time. Since then I have walked it with the Hallmarks, Businnnieus, Vissers, Duncans, Figgarowas, Laras, Moorheads and every boat captain who fished for the "Golden Guppie" when I worked there. Family and friends are invited to meet in the Parking Lot of the Seascape Restaurant at 12:00 Noon on October 17, 2010. Please do not litter!!. Three spoonfuls of cremated remains and one pelican feather will be launched to the "Holy Spirit of the Big Water" in a Tri-Spirit release ceremony. After which, family members are invited to take a quick walk of remembrance down the pier and back. Then at 9:00 PM all are invited to join us at the Firewater Lounge at Cherie Heights for "Kerry-Okie" with "G-money Trapper", "Rockabilly Bob Stonebob" and family. Come on down to join in, sing, rejoice and rock the night away. A special thank you goes out to the Trinidad Rancheria for the opportunity to share the memories of this special place with those I cherish. Arrangements are under the care of Paul's Chapel, Arcata. Dear Stobaugh Family, You know that our hearts are with you at this solemn occasion, however, I must mention the joy that is running through our brains. Bobby Sr. always had a smile, a chuckle, and something encouraging to say whenever we would meet. He always called me his Sweetheart and Ted was one of his boys. You can imagine how special this made us feel. We will never forget him, and we know he is has headed for "Higher Ground." We love you Stobaugh Family. We love and will miss you Bobby Sr. I'll always have a ripe tomato from my garden for you. Warmest regards, The Bishops ( Ted, Molley, and Mariah ) Mckinleyville,Ca.
