Kids, My thoughts and prayers go out to you. All is so fresh in my heart losing a husband and then our favorite brother. I can still hear them laughing when they would get together, reminising of all the things that they had done, whether they were good or bad. We all had so much fun when the four of us would get together. He will be teribly missed. I enjoyed our telephone calls as he always had me laughing. Love and Hugs to you all. Auntie Shirley

I have so many good memories of all the good times the four of us had. I can still hear Carlos and Jack laughing together and enjoying each others company and reminising of the things that they had done. Good or bad. I send you all my love and hugs. Auntie Shirley

To my sweet cousin's, the Lytle's, my heart is broken that Carlos is gone, the memories i have as a child with the family are always there, and will never diminish, when i think of Carlos, I am smiling, for he always made me laugh, from riding in the back of his truck as we went berry picking and the boys getting stung by yellow jackets, i love you all and i miss you, Connie Virginia "Fields" Carpenter

I am so very sorry Carlos has passed on. when were young, many, many years ago we played "house". Darrell would be "Jack" the dad, me the mom "Jewel" and Evelyn and Jackie would be our at home children and then there was Carlos. "Browny", he was usually in the army far away as we could get him, he was ok with that he could dip snuff and not get caught, but after about an hour, he would call out to us,OK, now tend like I'm coming home and tend like you are happy to see me (yeah right)we knew he would say something to stop the playing it was always funny and a little dirty too. this was in Williams, AZ 1940 one time. Iloved his singing and he had a beautiful garden.remember the good times. love, aunt Ninkie

I will remember all the good talks we had on the phone and fun time we had talking about our deer here on the ranch. He loved to hear about them, he would say to me, "look out and see if you see any"...I would.
I always loved it when he would call me Katie bar the door. I will miss him.

My condolence to the Lytle Family. The last time that I talked to Carlos I told him that if I ever got up to northern California that I would make sure that I would drop by McKinleyville and see him. Sorry to say that I never made it but maybe down the road we can meet again. I will never forget all the good times from my young childhood growing up with my cousins the Lytles. Sincerely Tommy & Marie Fields
