Curtis James Gordon

(Jim) passed away peacefully on Oct. 4, 2010. He leaves behind his wife of 29 years Gloria M. Gordon, his Children, Mark, Robert, Debbie, Julie, John, Michele, and all spouses. His step children Barbara, Deanna, and Donna along with their spouses. Also numerous, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Jim was born in 1929 to John and Frieda Gordon from Rohnerville, California. Jim served in the U.S. Navy from 1945-1949 during WWII. He served as ships engineer. Jim also worked in the lumber industry for over 40 years. Jim had love for his wife, family, hunting, reading, going to his cabin, going to both his Fortuna High School reunion, and his U.S.S. Lambson ship reunions, many family reunions, and lastly taking naps, and watching old Westerns. Arrangements are under the care of Sanders Mortuary in Eureka, California. A graveside service will be held on Friday Oct. 8, 2010 at 2p.m. at the Masonic cemetery 5254 Rohnerville Rd. Rohnerville, California. He will be remembered, loved, and admired by one and all.
