Eileen Y. Irving

Passed away on September 19, 2010. Eileen was preceded in death by her father Jim Winslow, grandfather Art Winslow and in-laws Bud and Gwen Irving. She is survived by her mother Jessie Winslow, her husband Jerry of forty years, her sons Jason and Jon, her grandsons Jake and Joe, her sister Roxanne and husband Gus Thorton and family, her brother Bruce and sister-in-law Bev Winslow and family. Also her aunts Doris and Leora and numerous cousins. Her nephew Scott Irving and family and niece Heather Irving and family. Eileen was born in Garberville, Calif. and grew up in Eureka California, she graduated Eureka High in 1970 and went on to marry the love of her life Jerry Irving. Eileen loved to cook and sew for all of her family. She loved the out doors, fishing, camping and hunting. Eileen spent a 30 year career in transportation starting as a bus driver. She attended the CHP academy and graduated as a certified instructor. She worker her way up into upper management in the public transit system. Eileen took a 2 year working vacation driving big rigs across the United States and Canada with her husband Jerry and then resumed her management position in transportation.
