It was very sad to hear of Gene's passing. I to got to know him working at Adels for many years, more so over the last few, during early morning coffee and listening to his great jokes. I would always look forward to sharing my lifes stories with Gene and he loved to hear them. We shared a sense of humor that not everyone understood, and had many inside jokes that still make me laugh. I'll never forget Gene, my condolences go out to his family, he will be missed.

Gene will be very missed by all of us at Adel's. I met Gene years ago when he would come in to eat with his wife, but it wasn't until his wifes passing that we all got to know Gene even better. He came in twice a day. He remembered all of our birthdays and spoiled us on a daily basis. No matter what kind of a day any of us were having, when Gene came in, we would smile. Gene will be so missed by every employee at Adel's and all our hearts go out to his family.
