Glenn and I are sorry that we could not make it to Aunt Gwen's service. She played at our wedding, some 34 years ago and Uncle Ernie sang Hawaiian Wedding Song. We have it on tape, if you ever want to hear it! We have many years of happy memories from Rainbow, DeMolay, and Eastern Star, not to mention family events. Blessings to all of the family.

To All of Gwen's family Diana, Ernie and Loene and friends. What a long full life Gwen had! My first memory of her was when I was about 10 years old. We ate breakfast at her house and she served us pancakes with hot syrup and cheese. Ever since that day I have heated my syrup and eat my pancakes with cheese. I remember her graciousness to us a few years back when we visited her in Fortuna. I trust she is rejoicing in the presence of Jesus with Ernie now, and my mom and my dad and many others. For those who know Jesus Christ as Savior death is but a stepping stone to the "Aha" of joyous life forever. Christ who rose from the dead is our perfect hope. May these thoughts comfort those who share her trust in Him and move any who may not to that moment of realization that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life, the only one through whom we come to the Father and can now be assured of life eternal. His loving kindness is better than this life. Better is the day of one's death than one's birth for those who know the Savior.

Dear Carol, Diana, Ernie and Loene,
Your mother gave so much to our family in so many ways. From the time I first met her (I was only two), until the last time I visited her in her beautiful sunny room, she brightened my life in her warm, caring and loving way. No matter how long it was between our visits, she smiled and held my hand, and it was as though we had never been apart. I feel so fortunate to have had her in my life for 76 years. Her love will live in my heart forever.
Vern and I, along with our children, send our love and our deepest sympathy. May God Bless you and comfort you in your sorrow.
