I met Janet through the American Association of University Women. One of my fondest memories of Janet was when she and Colin modeled evening wear for an AAUW fundraiser fashion show. They were such an elegant couple, the audience gasped with admiration. My other memories include her participation in our AAUW book group, when she shared a beautiful poem she'd written, when she brought some of her favorite art books to our Vincent van Gogh meeting and when she and Colin brought their homemade apple cider to our party meeting. She was indeed a talented and wonderful person. Our book group misses her.
My condolences to the family.

Janet was one of my oldest friends-of course I should say long-time. We were in many organizations together & spent times staying overnite at each others home so we could talk more. I treasure the last time we saw them. It was a shock to hear about Colins death and we are glad we had visited them. Strolled in their garden and just enjoyed being together. They did share their mountain golf course with us and many other things. I can't put into words how sad we are at this news.
She was such a lovely person and greatly loved by those who knew her.
