When we travel to Eureka we think of Jackie and our days at Humboldt State. Beth and her sisters knew Jackie as a group friend before Humboldt. Our trip to see Jackie at Lancaster was also the trip when the wildflowers in full bloom were outstanding.
We had an enjoyable time at chatting about our past and times at Humboldt

We just heard the sad news today (June 16.

Our condolences to Jackie's family. We new Jackie from our days at Humboldt State, in the mid 1950's. She tried to teach Felix to dance. He had just moved to HSC from San Francisco in the spring of 1954. Beth Anderson knew Jackie from Luther League and College. We were luck to renew our friendship at the HSU reunion a few years ago. We visited her at her home in Lancaster. She showed us around to see the wildflowers, air force base and the general area. We kept in contact via e-mail as best one can.
Beth's sisters Dorothery (Anderson) Lancaster and Carol (Anderson) Jenny got reacquainted at the Eureka High School Class Reunion.

We are so glad we all had a chance to renew friendships with her.

With sympathy;

Jackie (P.'s Mom) was one of the funniest people I've ever met! I will greatly miss all the funny (and serious) e-mails she sent to me. Now when it rains I will think that she has everyone up in heaven laughing so hard they're crying.
Thank you Jackie for always knowing what would make me laugh.
