Jeanette "Jennie" Flora Albini Jennie Albini passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the age of 93. Jennie was a lifetime resident of Humboldt County. She was born to Moses and Julia Bruga on September 4, 1919. Jennie not only kept her home, but as a wife to a dairy rancher she did many of the duties of a rancher. She loved working in her vegetable garden and tending to her chickens. She was a member of the Ferndale Museum and Assumption Catholic Church. Jennie is survived by her two loving daughters Mary (Ed) Katri, and Linda Beatty; her two granddaughters Kim Katri and Cindy Katri; her nephew Jim (Nancy) Zanotti and numerous other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her devoted husband Antonio "Tony" Albini, who passed away August 12, 1991. She is also preceded by her parents Moses and Julia Bruga, her brother Clement Bruga and by her two sisters Martha Manning and Josephine Zanotti. The family would like to thank Carol Lourenco, Lee Perkins and Crystal Benson for the care and help they provided. We give a special thank you to Pam Ambrossini. The family would also like to extend the thanks to Hospice of Humboldt. Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Goble's Fortuna Mortuary on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at Assumption Catholic Church, 546 Berding St, Ferndale. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 10:00 A.M at Assumption Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ocean View Cemetery in Eureka, California.
