June Adams Obituary

June Crym Adams July 22, 1942 - June 20, 2013 passed from her life after her second experience with cancer. She had worked 21 years with RSVP and Area 1 Agency on Aging. She loved her 15 years as a volunteer brailler with the Braille Transcribers of Humboldt. Any donations may be made to Braille Transcribers of Humboldt, P. O. Box 6363, Eureka CA 95502; or Hospice of Humboldt, 2010 Myrtle Ave, Eureka 95501. June wished to say thank you to Dr. Jeffrey Allen and to Dr. Rydz and to the loving staff of both offices. She wanted to thank Hospice for their support (and so does her caregiver husband, especially to the nurse Scotty). She offers a special thanks to our neighbors Reina and Mike Earhart for their willingness to become involved. Thank you. June is survived by her husband Tom Adams and by special close friends who appreciated her intelligence and volunteer spirit. Per her request their will be no services or memorial. I had known June for the past forty years, thought I had not been in touch with her recently. I am grateful to Tom that June had such a loving person to care for her. I regret that I missed spending time with her these past years.

Please accept my condolences. I worked with June at a law office in Ukiah in the early - mid 70's. I remember her as a kind and caring person.
