Her best friend was Donna Scheffler who will deeply miss her as they were joined at the hip since childhood. She left behind many, many, nieces and nephews who will dearly miss their Aunt Karen. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Drew Ward, who was the light of her world. Karen and Drew were married on March 3, 1993 in a helicopter ride over Las Vegas! She is also preceded by her brothers in law, Marshall Sundberg and Scott Ward.
