Kindrick will be greatly missed here in our Henderson Center neighborhood. I regret that I have only known Kindrick and Marie for a short time but it was obvious to me that they shared a very special love. My deepest sympathy to all of their families for this sad loss. Kindrick was a true "gentle man."

I worked with Kindrick (KO) at the Eureka Adult School. I was always impressed with his kindness and dedication to helping students. His math knowledge was a constant source of amazement and comfort to us teachers who are mathematically challenged. The schools need more teachers like KO.

I met Kindrick in May 2007, one month after the passing of my husband. We met at Hospice Grief Group, every Friday for several months. He offered me compassion, support and strength through his own tears. He had great insight into the flow of grief and reminded me often that life moves forward, it won't be the same but different and do able. He shared his deep love of Sylvia. He felt truly rich with his new and profound love for Marie.
He was a gift to many of us who were honored to call him friend.

Our sweet neighbor and friend. You will be truley missed. We have lots of memories of you for having been our next door for over 10 years. It was so amazing the day we discovered we shared the same wedding date of April the 5th. Loved getting to walk next door and exchange anniversary cards. We were so sad and worried the day Sylvia left....and then you were blessed with Marie and another family to fill the lonely days. Our world will be a little darker now and we carry on with life. We can rest on the fact that you our friend will never suffer another loss.
