Mada McDonald Obituary

loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, died at age 78 on Saturday October 2nd, 2010. She was born in Sacramento, CA on January 2nd, 1932. She leaves behind her loving husband of 58 years, Gerald McDonald, six children; Clair, Jimmy, Debbie, David, Kathy, Cindy and their spouses, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, sister Charlotte Rutledge, brother Raymond Jones, her life-long friend Gail Gibson and numerous other extended family and friends. Mada lived a full, unique and wonderful life. She raised her family in Willow Creek, CA and spent her days farming, gardening, fishing, living a life that makes up the kind of stories that are told and retold for years to come. Her interests were many and varied from cooking to hunting to repairing electronics and engines. She loved and respected nature of all kinds. She was spirited, honest, strong, sincere and loving. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to her doctors, Dr. Christopher Lee and David Plouss for the excellent care they provided for her. Services will be held at the family home at 6pm October 5th, 2010. Care is under the direction of Pierce Mortuary, Eureka, California.
