Mary Ballard Obituary

was born October 27, 1925 in Columbia MS to Jimmy Dolan and Cora Polk Dolan. She passed away on September 19, 2010 in Eureka, CA. She is survived by her husband Terry Ballard of Eureka and a sister, Marilyn McCroney (Harry) of Mississippi. She attended college in Jackson MS and was the Salutatorian of her class. She moved to Humboldt County in 1950 and was an Escrow Officer around the County for over 40 years. She married Terry Ballard in 1947 and they lived happily ever after. She was a member of Camellia Chapter OES, Daughters of the Nile, and the White Shrine of Jerusalem. Friends are invited to attend crypt side services at Ocean View Cemetery on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 1:00PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Goble's Fortuna Mortuary, Fortuna.
