Obituary Condolences

Mildred Laura Lively Mildred Laura Lively passed away March 16th 2014 at her home with her family by her side. She was one of seven children born to Felix and Laura Bennett of Columbia, Louisiana. Mildred stayed close to her brothers and sisters throughout her life. They meant a great deal to her. Mildred married Dalco Dean Lively, also of Louisiana. They came to California, married, and raised two daughters. Mildred enjoyed the outdoors with Dalco, hunting on South Fork Mt., bass fishing at ClearLake, and steelhead and salmon fishing on the Eel and Van Duzen Rivers.They also enjoyed fishing and hunting the bayous and forests of Louisiana. She also loved her needlework, making some of the most beautiful and intricate pieces. She loved to cook and turned out some great southern dishes. She is survived by her daughters Jean Waters (Richard). Their children, JoAnn Waller (Ken), and Ken Waters. Her daughter Bonnie Tatum (Curtis), their children, Jesse Sturdevant (Ali), Seth Sturdevant (Shawn), Derek Boyd, Kevin Tatum (Kim), and Brian Tatum (Ciara). Her Great grandchildren, Keri Waller, Kenneth Waller, Coleman, Cyrie, Dakota, Drew, and Baileigh Sturdevant. Audrey and Krissy Tatum and the great grandchild of our hearts, Joey Catron. Her brothers Joe Bennett (Betty), Robert Bennett (Laverne), Ronald Bennett. Her sisters Louise Mills of Louisiana, and Maureen Brownell of Rio Dell. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial services for the family were held at Calvary Chapel, Fortuna, followed by a luncheon for family and friends.
