Obituary Condolences

Robert L. Molander Robert L. "Bob" Molander, 85, of Wenatchee, WA passed away at his home on Monday, November 4, 2013. He was born on April 23, 1928 in Arcata to Arthur and Helen Molander. He was raised and schooled in the Arcata area and following high school, he entered the U.S. Army. He served as a Military Policeman with the Occupational Forces after W.W.II in Japan and later served during the Korean Conflict. Upon receiving his honorable discharge, he returned to Arcata. He met and was later married to Sherie Lee Gibson on September 14, 1960 at McKinleyville, California. Bob owned and operated Molander's Carpet Service in Eureka until his retirement in 1997. In 2006, they moved to Washington State where they made their home until his passing. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sherie L. Molander, Wenatchee, WA; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael & Cindy Molander, Eureka, CA, Eric & Lily Molander, Tujunga, CA and Kevin & Karen Molander, Wenatchee, WA; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy & Robert Clanton, San Lorenzo, CA and Shirley & Wesley Green, McKinleyville, CA; one brother and sister-in-law, Wallace & Marilyn Molander, Anderson, CA; four grandchildren, Brandon Molander, Tujunga, CA, Zachary Molander, Wenatchee, WA, Rachel Molander, Tujunga, CA and Samantha Molander, Wenatchee, WA.
