Ronald Bottemiller born on December 27, 1936, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 4th at the age of 76. My thanks to St Joseph Hospital, doctors and nursing staff for their compassionate care. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Betty, it was love at first sight when she saw his smile and those blue eyes. He will be missed by his three daughters Kristy Rodden with grandchildren Jaime and Sarah, Bridgette Mitchell with grandchildren Clara and Matthew, and Connie Bottemiller, as well as his much loved brother Fred Bottemiller and wife Joyce. Ron graduated from Oregon State Pharmacy School in 1961. Ron and Betty owned and operated Ron's Villa Pharmacy in McKinleyville, CA for 33 years. Ron was a compassionate respectful pharmacist. Ron and Betty were active in the community and enjoyed being members of the Baywood Golf and Country Club as well as the Rhododendron Society, where they made many life long friends. Ron enjoyed playing a weekly round of golf with his buddies and walking his dog Foxy. Ron will always be remembered for his wonderful smile, sense of humor and warm and friendly personality.
