Sandra Fae Bransom

passed away on Friday, November 5, 2010 in her home in Eureka, California at the age of 72. Sandy was born in Mendota, Illinois on December 19, 1937. She moved to Ferndale, California at the age of five where she resided until mid 1970's. She attended both Ferndale Elementary and Ferndale High School and has always considered Ferndale home. She has lived the last thirty five years in Eureka, California. Sandy worked for the US Postal Service for more than thirty five years, in Ferndale, Ben Lomond, and Eureka, California. Sandy was preceded in death by her father Harold "Slack Wire" Kukuk, her mother Fae Kukuk and brother Jerry Kukuk, all of Ferndale, California. Sandy is survived by her brothers Chris Kukuk and his wife Beverly of Ferndale and Don Kukuk and his wife Louise of San Jose, California. Her daughter and Son-in-law, Dottie and Mike Ridenour of Ferndale, her Granddaughter Rylee Kate Ridenour also of Ferndale, her nephew and his wife, Tim and Kelly Kukuk of Ferndale and niece Krystal Kukuk of Illinois along with numerous other nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends. Sandy enjoyed gardening, spending time with her granddaughter, family and friends, and caring for her beloved Kiddie. There will be a casual, Celebration of life pot luck, Saturday, November 13 at 1:00pm in the Clubhouse of Humboldt Bay Mobil Estates, (on the left at the foot of Humboldt Hill) Eureka, California. All are welcome. A special Thank You goes out to all those who made it possible for Sandy to stay at home throughout her entire process.
