A long time ago, I borrowed a fly pole from Sharon...and then I took it home. I asked her what she would like in trade for it, and she wanted a Christmas Cactus. So...what a trade, a rose Christmas cactus for a wonderful fly pole. I still have the pole today, and everytime I use it, I think of Sharon. Mike

Judy, sorry to hear about your sister.I enjoyed being raised around your family. Always felt like the Tomlinsons were my grandparents also. Seems like Sharon and my brother were always up to something when they were young. Enjoyed your Aunt taking me fishing when I was a little guy, and your Mom for teaching me in school. You have some strong roots in your family and thank you for sharing them. ----Kraasch family

Judy,Jim,Mike&Besty and families...
I was very sad to hear about Sharon. It had been a long time since I got to visit with her but I feel very lucky to have gotten to know her many years ago.
She always had a smile, laughter, joyful attitude all the time. It always made me smile to be around her.
It is wonderful a person can live in our hearts for years with no contact
since the first ones were so special...Thinking of the whole family and am very sorry about your great loss.

Judy and Family, It was such a surprise when Eddie called to tell me about Sharon. It's hard to describe the feelings you have when you lose a sister. I know you and Sharon were very close. She was such a warm and bubbly person. She won't be forgotten.

We hadn't seen Sharon for a long time but we have had her in our thoughts many times. When you live so close you don't take the time you should to see someone and then it is to late. Our thoughts and prayers are with Judy and her family. We had many good days when we were younger.

We'll all miss Sharon. We'll miss arguing about the Cowboys and teasing her about Rush Limbaugh and the wonderful food she'd bring along when she came to visit. I know Judy,Mike, and especially Betsy and 'the girls' will miss her very much. She was one of a kind. God bless you all. From all of us at
the Berry Patch.

I have not heard from Sharon in a very long time, but I am so sorry to hear of her death. I baby sat Sharon and Judy when they were very tiny people, and I was with my sister during summer vacations at Big Lagoon. I remember a happy, jolly person from the very beginning. It was a joy to see her again a few years ago concerning the Humboldt County Historical Society and have her share old photos of her family. Her mother used to take me up to the Tomlinson Ranch in the Bald Hills when Sharon and Judy were little. That's a long time ago.
MY deepest sympathy and prayers for all of you who were close to her and who will be missing her so much.
Sincerely,
Marylee Connick Rohde

I want to extend my sympathies to Sharon's family. I was the controller for Eureka Fisheries from 1982 to 1994. Sharon was head Fillet Lady, EMT, workers' compensation expert, etc. The greatest accident report Sharon ever filed was the time she was assaulted and battered by a live crab. She was bending over the box and a crab pinched her breast. She wrote a great report! Sharon maintained her Emergency Medical Technician certificate. She was great fun. I also read a lot and Sharon and I shared books. She is the one who introduced me to the "The Cat Who..." books. She added a lot to the quality of life for people around her. She will be missed. I am very sorry for your loss. Nancy Mathews
