Weston Edward Morris-Broussard Obituary
Weston Edward Morris-Broussard, December 1, 1988-December 16, 2013 "I don't condemn, I don't convert this is the calling have you heard, bring all the lovers to the fold no one is gonna lose their soul Love is my religion" Weston Edward Morris-Broussard died suddenly on December 16, 2013 in a car accident in Fortuna, CA. Weston was born on December 1, 1988 to Jill Lee Morris and Marc Edward Broussard at Southern Humboldt Community Hospital in Garberville, CA. Throughout his childhood and younger adult years, he lived in Garberville and Piercy, attending Noah's Ark Preschool, Redway Elementary, Miranda Junior High, and South Fork High, where he played football. As a teenager, he moved to Hydesville and attended Fortuna High, and as an adult, later made a home in Fortuna. Weston was a skilled carpenter, building beautiful homes for friends and relatives; with the labor of his family combined, Weston built a home in Fortuna for his Nana Marjorie. An animal lover and farmer at heart, together with his partner Julia, Weston had a farm full of animals that he loved and cared for dearly, including horses, pigs, goats, rabbits, cats and dogs. Weston had an immense passion for the art of yoga, and the benefits of peaceful meditation. He also enjoyed hiking and spending time in the woods, snowboarding, and tending to the animals on his farm; he was a man of ingenuity and out-of-the-box creativity. Weston was so lighthearted and free, and so was adored by his nieces and nephews; they were a tremendous joy to him; Weston lived and breathed a kindness and love for life that touched everyone he met, and he moved through this world with honesty and integrity; all who knew him would call him a friend a beautiful soul. He taught those in his life with guarded hearts to love, and to accept love, and to never waste precious time with worry. Weston is survived by his long-time partner, Julia Ralston, and their dog companion Doobie, with whom he shared a home in Fortuna; His Grandmothers Lovay Broussard and Bea Anderson, Mother Jill Lee Morris, Father Marc Edward Broussard, and Stepfather Charles Watston.
