Clyde Leonard Archer Clyde Leonard Archer was born June 12th, 1932 in Dennard, Arkansas and went home to be with his Lord on June 20th, 2014. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Rachel Archer, three sisters, and four brothers. Clyde is survived by his wife of sixty-two and a half years Bonnie, daughter Sandra Crowl-Nickerson, (Dave Nickerson), son James Archer (Connie Mahan), Lanny Crowl, grandchildren Mac Crowl, Yolanda Nickerson, and Jamie Nickerson, great-grandchildren Morgan, Emily, and Lane Crowl and Dillinger Lewis, and Clyde's special friend Lisa Barnes. Bonnie and Clyde received commendation for many years of volunteer service at care homes throughout Humboldt County. Clyde played the guitar and harmonica, and Bonnie and Clyde sang a variety of songs with gospel songs being the patients' favorites. Clyde worked his entire life in sawmills and the timber industry. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. We never doubted Dad's love as he told us how much he loved us every time we saw him. We believe him A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 25th at 2:00 pm at Sunrise Cemetery in Fortuna, Ca. Pall bearers will be Jamie Nickerson, Mac Crowl, and Cass Austrus. Honorary pall bearers will be Dave Nickerson, Lanny Crowl, Bearle Teasley, and Bill Eudy. A celebration of Clyde's life will held on Tuesday, July 15th at 6:00 pm at Fortuna Church of the Nazarene on 1355 Ross Hill Road in Fortuna. The service will be officiated by Pastor Richard Gatlin.
