Jody Lynn Moon Jody Lynn Moon was born in Humboldt County, California on Oct 25, 1964 to Ione Randall Moon and Charles Joseph Moon lll; she went to rest in peace on Dec 26, 2012 in Arcata, California after a long illness. Jody was an enrolled member of the Hoopa Valley Tribe and a lifelong resident of Hoopa. She worked at Plant Management for several years and then the Hoopa Tribal Civilian Community Corps for a number of years as lead night security staff. She enjoyed playing the one arm bandits and wrestling with the hungry bears. Jody survived by her two children, Ellrod L. Moon, Brently C. Clark and also her siblings four brother's George Moon, Joseph Moon, Gerald Moon, and Charles Joseph Moon Jr, one sister Sylvia Faye Moon, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death with, Ione Randall Moon her mother, Charles Joseph Moon lll her father, Charlene Moon-Colegrove her sister, Pearl Gardener Randall grandmother, and George Randall grandfather. Although she is no longer here on this earth with us, she will remain in our hearts forever. She was a loving, caring daughter, mother, sister, and friend. The Moon family would like to thank Mad River Hospital for taking great care of Jody Moon why she was in comfort care, the emergency room doctor Kevin Long and all staff, also like to say thank you to Pierce Mortuary, and Rodney Vigil.
