Vicki Acosta Vicki Acosta, 58 of Willow Creek California passed away 1/17/14. She was born May 21, 1955 to the late Gerald and Monta Deaver in Eureka, California. Vicki is survived by her partner of 34 years Bruce Cheney, children Carlos and Jennifer Acosta, Melissa and Victor Sanchez, grandchildren Micah Acosta, Jayden Larson and soon to be Isabela Sanchez, siblings Dan Deaver, Jack Deaver, Diana Carpenter, Leilani Deaver and Autumn Coffman. So many nieces, nephews and other loved family members, and friends that are family, unfortunately to many to list or even count. Vicki was a very strong woman who worked hard, held her head high and who was proud of her kids, grandkids and the many roles she had. She loved life, family and her slice of paradise in Willow Creek she owned with Bruce. "A limb has fallen from our family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter we shared and music we danced to, the good life I lived. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. Continue traditions no matter how small. Go on with your life. I'll miss you dearly until the day comes were together again.
