BARRE - The service of remembrance for Beverly Mae (Coxon) Dubie, of the Valley View Home for the Retired in Fairlee and a former Barre resident, was held Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church in Barre. She died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at the Woodridge Nursing Home in Berlin.

The Rev. Carl Hilton-VanOsdall, pastor, led the service. Organist and pianist Alison Cheroff provided the prelude and postlude music, and accompanied the congregation in the hymns "How Great Thou Art," "Here I Am," "Let There Be Peace On Earth" and vocalists and nieces Cynthia Hooker and Sylvia Mitton in the hymn "Just a Closer Walk With Thee."

Beverly's son, Thomas Dubie, gave the Scripture readings. The eulogy was offered by her nieces, Cynthia Hooker and Sylvia Mitton. Several members of the family and congregation shared memories of Beverly.

The interment preceded the service in the Wilson Cemetery in Websterville at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Hilton-VanOsdall offering the committal prayers. The bearers were grandsons Daniel Dubie, Jacob Dubie and Jeremiah Dubie; nephew Robert MacLeod; and Sanford Johnson.

Following the service, family and friends gathered in the church's fellowship hall for a time of sharing and refreshments.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre.
