BARRE - Dennis Gene Buska, 62, of Barre, Vt., (previously of Michigan) went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2013. Dennis died unexpectedly at his home from a recent illness.

He was born Sept. 8, 1950, in Portland, Maine, the second oldest child of Myers and Elva Buska, who preceded him in death.
Dennis served our country in the U.S. Marines in 1968, which led to an honorable discharge.
Dennis retired from General Motors in Ypsilanti, Mich., after 20 years.
He loved to dance, listen to music, and being with family. But most of all, Dennis loved life and loved to charm the women.
Dennis is survived by his two children: Glynda (Roger) Hinchcliff and Nichole Buska, of Michigan; three grandchildren: Morgan and Jacob Wilder, and Hayden Geesey, of Michigan. Other survivors include his siblings: Joe (Lisa) Buska, Linda (Ken) McGregor, Debra (Roger) Bauer, of Michigan, and Dave (Sue) Buska, of Vermont. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, a nephew and cousins. He was recently preceded in death by his special nephew, Douglas R. Hull, of Michigan (previously of Vermont).
The family will be accepting visitors at Guare & Sons Funeral Home in Montpelier, Vt., on Saturday, July 20, from noon to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 7:30 p.m.
