Joseph Sancibrian Obituary

BERLIN – The service to remember the life of Joseph W. Sancibrian, 71, was held on Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre. He died at his home on Comstock Road on Monday, Jan. 18, 2010.

The Reverend Richard Forcier, pastor of the Barre Universalist Church, officiated. Joe's son, Brad Sancibrian read a poetic tribute that he had composed to honor his dad, "My Father, My Friend." Niece Julie Sancibrian offered words of remembrance from herself and several of her cousins.

Later interment with military honors will be made in the Berlin Corners Cemetery.

Following the service, family and friends gathered at the Mutuo Inc, in Barre for a time of fellowship and luncheon. u

I am so sorry to hear about Joe's passing. I have enjoyed my friendship with him so much over the years. Always jovial and ribbing. I will miss the visits with him, especially at the Mutuo, and wish I could have been there to express my condolances personally.
