HARDWICK - Pamela Leggett, 62, passed away peacefully at Copley Hospital in Morrisville on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017, with her loving family by her side. She was born Jan. 31, 1954, in Berlin, Vermont.
Pam was a hard-working, fun-loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who touched the lives of many and who always brought a smile to the faces of the people around her. Pam was always more concerned about the well-being of others than she was about herself. She enjoyed reading, loved animals and was a Michael Jackson fan. Most of all, she loved her children, grand-babies and fur-babies.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Leggett, of Hardwick; sister, Lynda St. Peter and husband, Raymond, of Nantucket, Massachusetts, and brother-in-law Darryl Leggett; children, Kim Whitcomb and husband, David, of Elmore, Joanne Manning and husband Dale, of Hardwick, Dorothy P. Lewis, of Middletown, Connecticut, and Sharese Leggett and fiance Jerry, of Hardwick; stepchildren, Celisa Tolan, of Keller, Texas, and Anthony Bell and wife Michelle of Fort Myers, Florida; grandchildren, Christopher Baker-Whitcomb, Alexander Baker-Whitcomb, Kimberly Plante-Whitcomb and fiance Andrew Merelman, Annalise Baker-Whitcomb and fiance Stephen Hill, Taylor Plante-Whitcomb, Grace Baker-Whitcomb, Whittney Sicely and husband Trevor, Jordan Manning, Maressa Plante-Manning, Cassiopeia Manning, Kiana Manning, Caitlin Manning, Carlos Hernandez, Luis Diaz Jr., Tiarra Lewis, Logan Edson, Malakei Edson-Stark, Tyrique Leggett, Amber Fiske, Darius Payton, O'Shea Payton, Yssis Davis, Andre Kovalik, Tia Strachen, Anthony Bell Jr. and Deja Bell; great-grandchildren, Alexzander Fiske and Lila Kovalik; and nieces, Stacey St. Peter and Jamie Fox and husband Aaron.
A celebration of Pam's life will be held at the American Legion Post 7 located at 15 North Main St., Hardwick, on Jan. 14, from 3 to 8 p.m.
